Role
The SAP ERP Application Architect position is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of SAP ERP and related systems at Kao. They work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements and develop an SAP architecture that meets those needs.

Responsibilities
- Review project and design documents for new implementations, enforcing EIS standards and guidelines to ensure all business requirements are captured and documentation is properly stored.
- Assist project teams with technical design and architecture, ensuring platforms and technologies adhere to EIS-supported standards and that the SAP landscape remains supportable today, tomorrow, and into the future.
- Work with Business Relationship Managers to understand business requirements, scope projects, and define resource requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Organize existing functional and technical specifications, maintaining an inventory of all technical objects and enhancements in the current SAP system to prepare for S/4HANA.
- Research best practices and emerging technologies, educating and empowering business users to implement best‑in‑class solutions.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and configuring in an SAP environment.
- Minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations or roll‑outs and support experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4 projects.
- Business process and functional knowledge with configuration experience in SAP modules such as FICO, Logistics, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse & Quality Management, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, and PLM.
- Experience with WRICEF and working with ABAP developers to design or standardize customized functional solutions.
- Experience with EDI & IDOCs, SAP Query, and custom reports.
- Knowledge of operations and integration of various SAP modules.
- Knowledge of SAP’s database structures and proficiency with modern tools to integrate other systems with SAP.
