Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an NAAB-accredited program and minimum 4 years related experience.
• Master's degree in architecture from an NAAB-accredited program and minimum 3 years related experience.
• Demonstrated progress toward becoming a registered architect.
• Portfolio demonstrating design and graphic presentation skills is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of standard architectural concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a problem-solving environment and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
• Strong software and computer skills required, including BIM (Revit), Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams from design through construction.
• Modify and review production drawings for a variety of building types including commercial office, educational facilities, healthcare facilities, industrial facilities, and government/military facilities.
• Design exterior and interior components and architectural requirements for client vision set forth by the project managers.
• Apply strong knowledge of architectural concepts, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry.
• Research and compile project-related data, studies and reports; write specifications.
• Prepare client presentations, shop drawings, and contract administration documents for design across sectors.
• Perform field inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.
