Job summary

ms consultants, based in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Graduate Architect to join the Building Systems team on a variety of commercial projects. You will collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and staff on design development, drafting, cost estimating, and field work, contributing to real project work in a supportive, team environment.

You will gain hands-on experience with design calculations, plan development, and documentation while working from our Columbus office.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited college or university preferred.
Technical computer skills: Revit, AutoCAD, Word, Outlook, Excel.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions, share ideas, and collaborate.
Experience working on team projects (academic or professional) and collaborating across disciplines.

Responsibilities

Focus of the position will be technical production of plans, sections, elevations, and details for multiple project types.
Technical architectural work and support for projects in REVIT, AutoCAD and FormIt.
Technical understanding of building design and construction techniques.
Production related tasks in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Assisting project team leaders to align client and technical design standards for each project.
Creating high quality documents and checking your own work before hand‑offs to peer reviews.
