The Architect of the Capitol seeks an experienced Project Manager for the Office of the Chief Engineer. The ideal candidate will oversee project lifecycles and ensure successful completion of construction and renovation projects in line with established standards. This position demands specialized experience particularly in architectural and engineering project management.
This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Engineer, Planning and Project Development Division. The selectee will be responsible for performing project identification and development duties with emphasis on projects involving work derived from the facility conditionassessment database and new or existing facilities and other requirements from the master plan.
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position.You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. Specialized experience:is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
