Job summary

Veterans Affairs requires a CM - Senior Architect/Engineer to provide construction management support from pre-design through construction for the EHR modernization infrastructure upgrades at VAPHS Pittsburgh-Heinz. The role demands leadership in scheduling, design reviews, code compliance, and cost control, coordinating with VA staff and contractors.

Qualifications

Licensed architect with relevant degree.
Minimum 6 years of experience in design and construction of medical facilities.
Strong understanding of Construction Contract Documents and building codes.
Ability to utilize CAD/BIM and project management software for oversight.

Responsibilities

Provide construction management support from pre-design through construction.
Assist the Contracting Officer and COR in project management, scheduling, design reviews and quality control.
Monitor cost, schedule, documentation, and site safety implications across the project.
Facilitate communications among VA staff, contractor, and design teams.
