Job summary

Mosaic Health is seeking a hands-on Principal Engineer in Transformation Engineering to build AI-enabled applications and data pipelines across Mosaic HealthCare platforms. This remote US role focuses on turning complex workflows into scalable tech solutions.

You will lead design and implementation, collaborate with IT, data, and security, and help drive industry-leading practices in observability, security, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of progressive software engineering experience in enterprise-scale software.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and architecting scalable platforms.
• Expert knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native development, API design and software engineering governance.
• Experience evaluating and integrating AI/ML frameworks and ensuring robust software quality.

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into practical technical plans and drive the next steps.
• Build and maintain AI-enabled applications, backend services, and integrations.
• Design and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, validating, and delivering data.
• Prototype and evaluate AI tools, models, and frameworks balancing quality, latency and cost.
• Collaborate with IT, data, and security teams to industrialize scalable solutions with proper controls.
• Develop tests and documentation to ensure maintainability and transfer of knowledge.
• Support pilots and guide transition to production with security, identity, and access controls.
