Mosaic Health is seeking a hands-on engineer with strong applied AI experience and deep knowledge of technology infrastructure and data pipelines. This role is an individual contributor, not a manager, and focuses on building applications, integrations, and automated workflows across Mosaic Health entities.

You will design, implement, test and troubleshoot code, including data pipelines, while coordinating with IT, data and security teams to industrialize approved solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience with hands-on AI-enabled apps.
• Evidence of taking a product/workflow from idea to pilot deployment and value validation.
• Strong backend development skills in Python and/or TypeScript; SQL proficiency.
• Experience with language models, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, or tool calling.
• Experience designing APIs, services, and database schemas.

Responsabilités

• Understand workflows and translate business objectives into technical plans.
• Build AI-enabled applications, backend services and integrations.
• Design and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, validating data.
• Prototype and evaluate models, frameworks and tools; compare AI vs traditional approaches.
• Build evaluation datasets and automated tests for model outputs.
