Everforth Apex Systems seeks an Architect 1 to lead engineering application support for Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) initiatives. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and supporting AWS-hosted environments and Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.

You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and governance teams to validate designs and support SDV development and validation platforms. Onsite in Raymond, Ohio; strong cloud and container experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and support AWS-hosted environments and applications for SDV and engineering initiatives.
• Provision, configure, and maintain non-production AWS resources (compute, networking, storage, security).
• Administer Kubernetes/OpenShift environments and manage worker nodes.
• Monitor environment health, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, cost, and availability.
• Review architectures, code, and deployment designs for secure, scalable solutions.
• Create architecture docs, deployment diagrams, and technical assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and governance teams to validate designs.
• Support onboarding, deployment, and operation of SDV development and validation platforms.
• Provide architecture and technical consultation for IBM ELM and other platforms.
• Contribute to long-term technical roadmaps for engineering and SDV platforms.

Role Overview

This role focuses on engineering application support for Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) applications, encompassing architecture reviews, deployment, and ongoing support. The position involves designing, deploying, and supporting AWS-hosted environments and applications that are integral to SDV and engineering initiatives. The objective is to enhance solution quality, establish repeatable AWS deployment practices, and strengthen team capabilities in cloud architecture and SDV platforms.

• Design, deploy, and support AWS-hosted environments and applications for SDV and engineering initiatives.


• Provision, configure, and maintain non-production AWS resources, including compute, networking, storage, and security services.


• Administer Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, including the creation and management of worker nodes.


• Monitor environment health, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for performance, availability, and cost optimization.


• Review application architectures, code, and deployment designs to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.


• Create architecture documentation, deployment diagrams, and technical assessments for architecture reviews.


• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and governance teams to validate solution designs.


• Support the onboarding, deployment, and operation of Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) development and validation platforms.


• Provide architecture and technical consultation for IBM ELM and other engineering application platforms.


• Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap for engineering and SDV platforms.
