Great buildings don't happen by accident. They're designed to be built.
At Anderson Ashton Design-Build, we believe architecture should do more than look good on paper. It should work in the field, meet the owner's budget, and deliver a building that performs as intended.
We're looking for an experienced Architect who wants to be involved in more than just producing drawings.
This is an opportunity to join an established commercial design-build company where architecture, estimating, project management, and construction work together from the beginning.
As an Architect at Anderson Ashton, you'll work directly with owners, estimators, project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to turn concepts into successful construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
We're looking for someone who understands that successful architecture requires creativity, technical knowledge, practical judgment, and collaboration.
Ideal qualifications:
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, welcomes input from the people building it, and understands that the best design is one that can actually be constructed.
At many architecture firms, the architect's involvement ends when the drawings are issued.
That's not how we operate.
Our architects work alongside the people responsible for estimating, scheduling, managing, and constructing the buildings they design.
That means:
We believe good architecture and good construction belong together.
If you're an architect who wants to get out from behind the drawings, work directly with the construction team, and have a meaningful role in delivering successful projects, we'd like to hear from you.
