McMahon Associates is seeking a licensed Industrial Architect with 7+ years of experience to join our team in Wisconsin. This role leads diverse industrial, manufacturing, food processing and commercial projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and project professionals.

The ideal candidate combines design talent with technical prowess, client relationship skills, and the ability to manage projects from planning through construction administration.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional architectural experience.
  • Licensed Architect in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Autodesk Revit is required
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects through planning, design, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial building codes and permitting processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Develop project concepts, programming documents, schematic designs, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and process engineering disciplines.
  • Prepare and oversee architectural drawings and technical documentation.
  • Perform design related tasks such as, but not limited to, building design & code review, bidding phase related tasks, and construction administration
  • Review project documentation for quality, completeness, and constructability.
  • Evaluate materials, systems, and building technologies to support project goals and meet client’s needs.
  • Continually monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Develop and/or maintain client relationships
  • Provide professional mentorship to early career staff.
