McMahon Associates in Wisconsin is seeking a licensed Architect with 7+ years of experience to lead a diverse mix of industrial, manufacturing, food processing and commercial projects, working alongside an integrated team of architects, engineers and project professionals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Licensed Architect in the State of Wisconsin.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• Proficient with Autodesk Revit.
• Experience leading projects through planning, design, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Strong knowledge of commercial building codes and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Develop project concepts, programming documents, schematic designs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and process engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and oversee architectural drawings and technical documentation.
• Perform design related tasks such as, but not limited to, building design & code review, bidding phase related tasks, and construction administration
• Review project documentation for quality, completeness, and constructability.
• Evaluate materials, systems, and building technologies to support project goals and meet client’s needs.
• Continually monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Develop and/or maintain client relationships
• Provide professional mentorship to early career staff.
