ProSidian Consulting, LLC is seeking a Cultural Resources Specialist & Field Technician to support National Park Service projects across the Prince William County region. The role involves archaeological fieldwork, documentation, and compliance with NPS standards, with potential full-time contingent engagement.

Responsibilities include field surveys, data recording, and preparing reports such as the Phase I Archaeological Survey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and excavations to identify and document cultural resources.
• Record fieldwork with notes, photographs, and preliminary analyses.
• Follow project guidelines and coordinate site visits with park personnel.
• Prepare End of Fieldwork Summary and assist in Phase I Archaeological Survey Report.
• Ensure artifacts and field notes meet NPS curatorial standards.
• Support delivery of final artifact catalog within 300 days of start.
