SECTOR OVERVIEW

Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil - gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking Archaeological Field Technicians with our Cultural Resources team in Albuquerque. This is a part-time/as-needed position with the opportunity for full-time employment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - TASKS

  • The Archaeological Field Technician will work closely with other TRC archaeologists, environmental staff, permitting specialists, and managers in TRC's Planning, Permitting, and Licensing (PPL) practice.
  • We are seeking professionals enthusiastic about his/her work with a strong commitment to client service and technical excellence. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenges of working alongside others in a fast-paced environment while helping to develop effective solutions to both expected and unexpected project challenges.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • One or more years of progressive experience with archaeological survey and excavation projects in New Mexico or adjoining states
  • Experience in environmental monitoring including cultural, biological, SWPPP highly desired
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and management skills
  • Familiarity with digital field technology (GPS, tablets, total station, etc.) and GIS applications and software (Collector, Fulcrum)
  • A commitment to quality and safety
  • Will be required to walk long distances, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying environments and conditions (i.e. steep terrain, heat, cold)
  • Will require travel away from the office location
  • No relocation offered for this position, seeking local candidates only
  • Candidates are required to successfully pass a drug test prior to employment or within five working days from date of hire in addition to a pre-employment background check, physical and motor vehicle records check

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
