Job summary

Esri is seeking an experienced Instructor to empower customers with ArcGIS through hands-on training, interactive sessions, and engaging activities. You will partner with organizations to expand ArcGIS usage and communicate the strategic impact of GIS programs across sectors.

The role supports Esri customers in Defense, Public Safety, Health and Human Services, delivering training domestically and internationally and promoting sustainable GIS workflows while growing user skills and confidence.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities.
5 of those years should be in ArcGIS Enterprise or Enterprise Geodatabases.
2 of those years should include classroom facilitation and instructional delivery.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while prioritizing student needs.
Strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate feedback to continuously improve instructional delivery and course materials.
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
20% travel time within the year to support an average of 10-15 onsite customer training sessions per year.

Responsibilities

Grow user skills by developing and delivering training programs in-person, virtual and hybrid formats.
Ensure sustainable GIS workflows by guiding customers on best practices and workflow design.
Expand the use of ArcGIS by identifying use cases and delivering workshops to showcase capabilities.
Communicate the impact of GIS with compelling narratives and case studies.
