Job summary
People, Technology & Processes, LLC in Fort Knox, KY seeks a Drafter ArcGIS CAD Operator II to migrate plant diagrams into ArcGIS and convert legacy AutoCAD data to GIS formats. You will prepare detailed drawings with AutoCAD or MicroStation, create maps, and ensure accurate GIS representations for asset management.
The role requires ArcGIS proficiency, AutoCAD/MicroStation skills, and the ability to update redlines and drawings while coordinating with engineers and field staff to meet tight
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in Drafting or related field.
- Valid Driver's License.
- AutoCAD (MicroStation V8i) and ArcGIS experience.
- Esri ArcGIS certification (Foundation or higher).
- GPS training or equivalent GIS data handling.
Responsibilities
- Migrate plant diagrams into ArcGIS for the NEC GIS team.
- Convert legacy government AutoCAD data to ArcGIS by mid-2025.
- Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar CAD tools.
- Create maps and perform GIS data integration and analysis.
- Update and maintain as-built drawings from field sketches.
- Coordinate with engineers and designers for project docs.
- Maintain drawing/document control per standards.
- Support data conversion, digitizing, and georeferencing.
