This role offers variety, independence, and opportunities to develop technical skills in the amusement industry.

  • Manage the route. Complete the assigned arcade sweep and service schedule, conduct regular location check-ins, and prioritize work based on equipment condition and customer needs.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment. Test games and amusement devices for proper operation; clean, calibrate, stock, and perform preventive maintenance to improve uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install. Diagnose equipment issues; repair or replace components within training and authorization; and perform assembly, installation, setup, relocation, or removal tasks as assigned.
  • Respond to service needs. Handle service calls and equipment outages promptly, provide or receive remote support for lower-level repairs, and elevate complex issues with accurate diagnostic information.
  • Control cash and records. Collect and reconcile machine revenue, record meter readings, protect funds, and follow company chain-of-custody, deposit, and reporting procedures.
  • Maintain inventory. Track and organize parts stock, identify parts requirements, document parts used, and assist with prize inventory and replenishment at serviced locations.
  • Document and communicate. Complete work orders, service notes, photos, equipment-condition reports, and collection records; keep location partners and management informed about status and follow-up needs.
  • Work safely and protect company assets. Maintain assigned tools, test equipment, parts, and service vehicle in an organized condition and follow all safety, driving, security, and customer-site requirements.
Required Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and safely apply company repair methods, tool-use practices, service instructions, safety procedures, and work standards.
  • Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, documentation, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate with a remote manager or support team, and reliably complete an assigned route.
  • Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or computer for work orders, photos, service documentation, and communication.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets job-related company and insurance requirements. Driving-history information will be evaluated in accordance with applicable law.
  • Availability for regular travel throughout the assigned territory and a schedule that may include occasional evenings, weekends, on-call needs, or approved overtime based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting or repairing electronic, electrical, mechanical, computer, vending, automotive, appliance, industrial, or similar equipment.
  • Experience servicing arcade games, redemption equipment, jukeboxes, vending machines, ATMs, kiosks, amusement devices, or other route-based equipment.
  • Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, a multimeter, or other electronic test equipment and following service manuals or wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with coin and bill acceptors, card readers, ticket and redemption systems, PC hardware, low-voltage components, or basic networking.
  • Prior field-service, route-service, cash-collection, inventory-control, or customer-location experience.
  • Technical certificate, trade-school education, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Physical and work environment
  • Regularly drive between customer locations and enter bars, restaurants, arcades, and other entertainment venues with varying noise levels, lighting, crowds, and floor surfaces.
