Job summary

Family Entertainment Group in Lahaina, Hawaii, is seeking a dedicated arcade technician to keep our games running at peak fun. You’ll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure guests leave with a smile.

Work closely with the Technical or General Manager, source parts, assist guests, and help move and set up games across locations while upholding safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and some technical training.
• Minimum one year of technical experience or equivalent training through classwork or previous employment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on arcade games to minimize downtime and maintain like-new condition.
• Collaborate with the Technical Manager or General Manager to develop and execute a preventive maintenance plan.
• Source and manage game parts to minimize expenses and maintain accurate tracking in the web-based system.
• Communicate all arcade operational issues promptly to management.
• Assist guests with game issues in a friendly and timely manner.
• Keep token changers, ticket stations, and instant win merchandise stocked and functioning properly.
• Follow all security procedures for token collection, storage, and company assets.
• Assist with game cleaning, ticket loading, and general arcade upkeep.
• Support other locations with game setups, moves, and operational improvements as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
