Sinclair's WTVC is seeking a News Intern for Fall 2026 to contribute to researching, writing, and producing stories for broadcast and digital platforms. You will work with reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in both the newsroom and in the field, pitching fresh ideas to engage local audiences.

This internship offers hands-on experience across platforms, exposure to control room operations, and a chance to develop a professional portfolio with published work.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
• Available to work on-site at WTVC in Chattanooga, TN
• Enthusiasm for local news and storytelling

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms
• Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in newsroom and field
• Pitch ideas to shape coverage relevant to the audience
• Learn basic video shooting and framing for compelling visuals
• Gain exposure to control room operations and live broadcasts
