Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to perform on-site electrical distribution evaluations and arc flash risk assessments. You will gather electrical data, run studies, and coordinate services including infrared thermography and training across diverse industries.

Responsibilities include project management from kickoff through closeout, reporting, and communicating findings to clients. Travel will be extensive, with emphasis on field work and customer training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or 10 years of practical electrical engineering/field experience in electrical building construction acceptable as alternative

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical power system studies and infrared thermography for clients across industries
• Assist sales team and communicate with clients regarding arc flash services
• Project manage assigned projects from kickoff to closeout
• Evaluate documents and gather electrical data to create engineering study proposals
• Conduct on-site electrical system assessments to document configurations, equipment ratings, conductor lengths, ampacities, and OCPD information
• Perform arc flash studies, short circuit coordination, and fault current studies
• Provide site-specific arc flash training for customers
• Create arc flash reports with labels, diagrams, and energy-reduction recommendations
• Serve as SME and trainer on arc flash safety, assessments, audits, and calculations
• Travel 50–70% US-based for on-site field work
