Job summary

Guidant Power is seeking an experienced data collector to travel to customer sites and perform arc flash evaluations. You will open live equipment, record data, and interpret one-line diagrams to produce accurate as-built drawings.

The role requires independent work, strong time management, and constant communication with our team for support. The position emphasizes safety, professional conduct, and the ability to describe electrical distribution systems so engineers can model them efficiently.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience required or electrical engineering degree.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and read one line diagrams.
• Proficiency with laptops/tablets and cloud storage tools.
• Strong teamwork and collaborative skills in a small focused team.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to conduct arc flash evaluations.
• Open equipment and record information via photos and documents.
• Read one line drawings and edit to create accurate as-built drawings.
• Retrieve and upload data using online storage; enter information in spreadsheets.
• Communicate with engineering and customers to ensure accuracy.
• Apply labels to electrical equipment and maintain professionalism on site.
• Collaborate with team; leverage experience to describe systems for engineers.
