Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt outdoor position. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service equipment, load materials, and follow safety procedures to protect workers and the public.

Responsibilities include coordinating with customers, training new staff, and maintaining equipment. A Driver's License is preferred; HS diploma or equivalent is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services tools and equipment.
• Cleans and loads debris; feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping; protects employees and public.
