Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts seeks an Arborist Representative in North Ridgeville, OH to visit client properties, assess tree and shrub care needs, and provide scientific recommendations to grow long-term relationships.

You will drive sales within a defined territory, meet with residential and commercial clients daily, and prepare proposals using sales tools, while ensuring work complies with contracts and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience.
• ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain – Bartlett will cover exam costs.
• Ability to identify trees and shrubs common to the region, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend actions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sell within a defined territory, covering sales, marketing, customer service, administration, production, and training.
• Meet with existing and potential residential and commercial clients daily to evaluate care needs.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships within the territory.
• Prepare and provide proposals using sales tools and technologies.
• Supervise work to ensure contracts are followed and client satisfaction achieved.
• Set up personal sales goals with supervisor and pursue targets.
• Implement and enforce safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs.
