Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Representative Trainee in Southampton, NY. You will work with a team of arborists to learn all aspects of the business, from sales to service, while building client relationships and advancing through training and mentoring.

The role combines field work and sales, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and professional development. Compensation includes base salary with commission; benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in tree care or sales.
• ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain (company pays exam)
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related field preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Learn all sales areas within a defined territory (selling, marketing, customer service, administration, production, training).
• Meet with residential/commercial clients daily to evaluate tree/shrub care needs.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships within the territory.
• Provide proposals using sales tools, software, and technologies.
• Supervise work and ensure contract satisfaction.
• Set personal sales goals with supervisor.
