Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking an Arborist Sales Representative to join a nationwide, employee-owned team. The role is field-based with the office outdoors and daily work on customer sites.

You will educate clients, provide estimates, and develop plant health programs while leading crews and reporting to the District Manager. A valid driver’s license and ISA Certified Arborist credential are required.

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of tree care practices and hazard evaluation.
• Strong people skills and organization required.

Responsibilities

• Work as a tree doctor making house calls.
• Educate residential and commercial customers on tree needs.
• Provide customers with estimates based on needs.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Create and build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Set up and supervise crew members on customer jobs.
• Assist District Manager in directing the team.

We are currently looking to add a dynamic Arborist Sales Representative to our passionate team of tree care professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!

Compensation

$85,000 - $100,000 base salary (Based on experience and certifications)

Job Duties

• Work as a tree doctor that makes house calls!
• Educate residential and commercial customers on the needs of their trees.
• Provide customers with estimates based on their needs.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Create and build relationship with new and existing clients.
• Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs.
• As part of the office and field management team, the Sales Representative assists the District Manager in the direction of whole team.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Love of the outdoors
• ISA Certified Arborist ®
• Required: Valid driver’s license
• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge
• Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management and industry approved tree care practices
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates
