Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Tallahassee, FL seeks an experienced Arborist Crew Leader to lead a tree care crew and perform all services safely and efficiently. You will mentor crew members, supervise arboriculture work, and ensure adherence to industry and company standards.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform and supervise all aspects of arboriculture (pruning, cabling/bracing, rigging, removals).
• Operate and maintain equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Supervise and manage crews while delivering tree care services as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure crew members are trained for each job assignment and comply with standards.
• Communicate with clients and build relationships on-site.

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will play an important role in

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including
• Pruning
• Cabling and bracing
• Rigging
• Removals
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensuring that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver\'s license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
