Bartlett Tree Experts in Woodlands, TX is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to lead a tree care crew, performing all services safely and efficiently. You will mentor crew members, ensure proper training, and uphold industry standards while fostering strong client relationships.

A passion for nature and the outdoors is essential. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of tree climbing and aerial lift experience, a valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred), and the ability to work year-round in all

• Three or more years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather.
• Experience supervising and training crews.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform and supervise all arboriculture tasks including pruning, cabling/bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Manage and mentor crews, ensuring work meets industry and company standards.
• Communicate with clients and build relationships.

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will play an important role in

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including
• Pruning
• Cabling and bracing
• Rigging
• Removals
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensuring that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
