Job summary

SavATree LLC is seeking an Arborist Assistant in Carmel, Indiana to support sales and branch operations. You will make outbound calls, create proposals, and schedule appointments while maintaining excellent customer service and accurate records.

You will also assist with payments and database management as part of a collaborative team. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, an associate degree or higher, and experience with sales or marketing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional phone manner.
• 2+ years outbound calling or sales experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AR/AP/Payroll/HR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound sales calls and generate leads.
• Create proposals and schedule customer appointments.
• Maintain multiple sales calendars and admin records.
• Provide world-class customer service on inbound calls and process payments.
• Build rapport with customers and administer the customer database.
• Complete paperwork and support Sales Arborists; participate in coaching sessions.

Position Summary

As an Arborist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting sales and branch operations. A typical day may include:

• Making outbound sales calls and generating leads
• Creating proposals and scheduling customer appointments
• Maintaining multiple sales calendars
• Providing world-class customer service on inbound calls
• Building positive rapport with customers and processing payments
• Administering the customer database and maintaining accurate records
• Completing paperwork efficiently and supporting Sales Arborists
• Participating in call monitoring and coaching sessions for training and quality support

This is a fast-paced and highly collaborative role, offering opportunities to build your knowledge, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of the team.

About You

You are eager to learn and grow within the business and the arboricultural industry. You bring:

• An associate’s degree or higher (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner
• Previous success with outbound calling and sales/marketing (2+ years a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and database systems (training provided)
• Experience with AR, AP, Payroll, HR, Benefits, and multiline phone systems
• A strong eye for accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
