Job summary

Prestonwood Landscape Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time Assistant Arborcare Manager to support the Senior Arborcare Division Manager. You will help lead Arborcare crews in daily field operations, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate production and job assignments.

We look for hands-on professionals with 3+ years of tree care experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor crews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in tree care, arborcare operations, or landscape management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• ISA Certified Arborist preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising field crews.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards and best practices.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Arborcare Division Manager with leading and supervising multiple Arborcare crews in daily field operations.
• Support the planning and coordination of daily production schedules and job assignments.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.
• Conduct daily crew check-ins and reinforce safety procedures and PPE compliance; monitor job quality, crew efficiency, and production performance, escalating issues and providing recommendations.
• Communicate job progress, updates, and completion details with management and internal teams.
• Coordinate pruning, removals, and other arborcare services to meet client expectations.
• Monitor crew productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Track equipment usage, condition, and maintenance needs.
