The position emphasizes strong leadership, excellent customer service, hands-on supervision, adherence to safety procedures, and pride in quality workmanship for year-round work. You will coordinate with supervision, read daily orders, and ensure equipment and records are maintained properly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in arbor or related industry.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain CDL within 30 days of hire.
• First-Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of ANSI Z133.1-2000 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train crew to meet safety and quality standards.
• Read and interpret daily work orders.
• Decide work start/stop times based on weather conditions.
• Maintain good customer relations through quality work.
• Keep accurate timesheets and reports for crew.
• Load/unload gear and operate a woodchipper as needed.
• Relay hand-signals for safe communication with crew/traffic.
• Repair minor property damage on site as needed.
• Maintain attendance and vehicle/tools in good condition.
• Work flexible hours to meet seasonal demands.
