Capitol Bridge Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Arbiter to join our team.

Pay and Benefits

• Base Rate: $32 per completed dispute (200 cases per month preferred)
• Training: 3-4 weeks (mostly self‑paced)

Responsibilities

• Arbitrating/deciding payment disputes.
• Reviewing cases to determine and summarize facts and assess issues involved.
• Researching issues using federal law, federal regulations, relevant contract law; reviewing plan contracts and other relevant information; making a decision as to whether an enrollee is entitled to benefits in cases involving contractual disputes.
• Communicating the determination in a clearly written format.
• Exercise independent judgment to ensure determination is accurate, well‑supported and defensible; taking appropriate action as required.
• Acquiring all necessary information involving cases and rendering a final determination based on the information provided by the appellant.
• Managing highly complex case files.
• Performing other duties as may be assigned by management.
• Drafting and reviewing payment determination decisions.
• Drafting email responses to payment dispute questions or concerns from the disputing parties.
• Interpreting applicable regulations and policies associated with the case to determine recommendations.
• Ensuring solutions are consistent with organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Juris Doctorate preferred.
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented work environment.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
• Experience working across multiple systems such as SharePoint, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office products.
