Job summary

Social Factor is seeking a native Arabic-speaking Community Moderator for project-based, temporary, or part-time work. The role focuses on developing and moderating digital communities for well-known brands, with opportunities across English and Indonesian contexts.

Some work is 24/7, and candidates may be US- or UK-based. Ideal applicants will have moderation experience, a strong understanding of Arabic language and culture, and the ability to mirror brand voice.

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of Arabic language
• Deep understanding of Arabic pop culture, slang, and references
• Able to mirror brand voice and engage with users
• Experience in social media moderation; live stream moderation is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of major social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn) and fast internet
• Willingness to use AI as a practice tool; prohibited during live interviews

Responsibilities

• Moderate conversations across social platforms for assigned brands
• Engage with users in brand voice and maintain community health
• Identify, escalate, and resolve moderation issues in real time
• Support live stream moderation when required
• Collaborate with brands to grow and protect digital communities
