Job summary
CBS News Pittsburgh is seeking a highly skilled AR/VR Jib Operator to maneuver a jib camera in our AR/VR studio environment and support the studio operations team for a variety of productions.
The role may include Sony ELC Production Assistance operation, set changes, mic’ing talent and guests, teleprompter operation, floor managing and other duties as assigned.
Candidates must be able to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications
- B.A. degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience in professional Jib Camera and/or field camera operation is a must.
- Knowledge of live TV studio environments is required.
- Knowledge of control rooms and control room operations is desired.
- Ability to operate computer-based systems as well as interact with various control interfaces is required.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Responsibilities
- Maneuver a jib camera to create dynamic and creative shots in AR/VR studio.
- Support studio operations team for a variety of productions.
- May operate Sony ELC Production Assistance, set changes, mic’ing talent and guests, teleprompter operation, floor managing and other duties as assigned.
