Job summary

Cornerstone Services seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Resource to support billing and collections for skilled nursing facilities in Iowa. Responsibilities include AR follow-up across payors, reviewing aging, resolving denials, and ensuring accurate posting and reconciliation.

The role emphasizes communication with residents, staff, payors, and leadership, with a focus on timely collections and documentation. Prior healthcare AR and PCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior skilled nursing or healthcare AR experience.
• Experience with PCC.
• Experience with Inovalon or similar platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Iowa Medicaid and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR follow-up for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, private-pay and other payors.
• Review aging reports and prioritize collections.
• Research denied or delayed claims and drive to resolution.
• Billing, posting, adjustments, and account reconciliation.
• Monitor Medicaid eligibility and managed-care requirements.
• Communicate professionally with residents, payors, and facility staff.
• Maintain documentation of collection activity and status.
• Prepare reports for leadership.
• Assist CHOW-related billing transitions and setup.
• Support facility Business Office staff and ensure consistent processes.
