Job summary

RealREPP is partnering with a growing building systems expert to hire an Accounts Receivable Associate in Los Angeles. You will handle cash receipts application, customer accounts, and maintain accurate records ensuring data integrity and GAAP compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years AR experience, familiarity with customer invoicing or payment portals, and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and ability to work under supervision are important.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Experience with customer invoicing or payment portals preferred.
• Basic accounting knowledge required.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
• Works under direct supervision and follows defined guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process assigned accounts receivable transactions with focus on cash receipts application and customer accounts.
• Process and apply customer payments, ensure proper posting and reconciliation.
• Research and resolve straightforward AR discrepancies and unapplied cash; escalate more complex issues.
• Assist with new customer setup, including creation and maintenance of records and portal access.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for data integrity and auditability.
