Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in mechanical-related fields.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA).
• Ability to test and evaluate mechanical designs.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods (3D printing, CNC, laser cutting).
• Knowledge of mass production methods (injection molding, sheet metal, CNC).
• Basic understanding of material properties for plastics and metals.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm ideas and define requirements balancing performance, comfort, and aesthetics.
• Design enclosures, thermal solutions, and dynamic components.
• Detail 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
• Perform engineering analysis including weight and tolerance analysis.
• Rapidly prototype designs using 3D printing and CNC.
• Identify and resolve issues through iterative design.
• Validate design intent through data-driven testing.
• Collaborate with electrical, optical, manufacturing, reliability, and industrial engineers; work with suppliers for manufacturability.
