Job summary

Mill is seeking a Product Design Engineering intern to join a tight-knit team and help bring a novel consumer product to launch. You will work on hardware prototypes, CAD design, testing, and collaboration with suppliers and contract manufacturers to resolve manufacturing quality issues.

Your learning will span design, tooling, and testing as we push toward production, with mentorship and hands-on lab work using NX and other tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (obtained or in progress).
• Proficient in 3D CAD (prefer Nx).
• Proficient in a variety of rapid prototyping methods.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Mill cross functional team on the design and validation of new products.
• Develop prototypes and execute tests in order to drive design towards mass production maturity.
• Support 3D CAD design and 2D documentation.
• Support engineering build activities, partnering with suppliers and CMs to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing quality issues.
