Job summary

Allegion's AD Systems team in Everett, WA invites a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering student to join as a Summer Intern. You’ll work with the engineering and cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle, from concepting to testing and manufacturing, gaining hands-on experience on real projects.

You’ll collaborate with new product development, value engineering, and sustaining engineering, learn prototyping and product testing to standards, and contribute to growth opportunities within

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work with NPD, VE, and sustaining engineering to understand products.
• Use mechanical design and analysis tools on concepts, design development, and execution.
• Fabricate and build prototypes within a manufacturing environment.
• Learn and conduct product testing to industry and internal standards.
• Learn manufacturing processes by working with the manufacturing engineering team.
• Perform quality analysis and verify conformance of parts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (purchasing, finance, project management, drafting).
• Gain experience to build a foundation for growth with Allegion and AD Systems.
