Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, post daily receipts, and lead collections for North America.

Responsibilities include AR subledger reconciliation, bad debt reserves, and supporting GAAP/SOX controls, using Windows ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. AAS with 5+ years or BS with 2+ years in accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows-based ERP systems, preferably in manufacturing.
• Must be proficient in Excel incl. formulas and pivot tables.
• Ability to handle high-volume, multi-site AR in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX standards.

Responsibilities

• Post daily invoicing.
• Post cash receipts from daily bank reports.
• Prepare credit memos for Rochester BU as needed.
• Process credit card payments for NA divisions (including Ecommerce).
• Lead collections efforts and audits with supporting documentation.
• Month-end AR subledger reconciliations to GL.
