Tippmann Affiliated Group in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to manage credit and collections activities.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of prior experience in credit/collections, along with an understanding of general bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Job duties include:

• Review credit applications, using pre-established metrics to determine approval


• Process payments


• Responsible for professional collection efforts on past due accounts


• Communicate effectively with accounting, sales and other departments as necessary


• Review inbound and outbound purchase orders for accuracy

Required skills:

• Highly organized, efficient and self – driven


• Excellent attendance record


• Working knowledge with Microsoft Office and general strong computer aptitude


• Ability to type 35+ WPM


• Prior experience with establishing credit, collection efforts, and/or general A/R activity


• Positive attitude and a willingness to adjust to company and customer needs


• Professional communication skills reflective of the company


• Understanding of State and Federal collection laws


• Knowledge of Salesforce and Navision is a plus but is not required
