Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a growing real estate investment and management firm in Boston to recruit an AR Manager. This role offers ownership of AR/AP processes, a collaborative 10-person accounting team, and a hybrid schedule.

You will focus on tenant billing, collections, and portfolio reporting while contributing to portfolio expansion. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in real estate AR/AP, strong Yardi skills, and a degree in accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years AR/AP or property accounting experience within real estate.
• Strong Yardi experience required.
• Experience with tenant billing, collections, invoices, and property manager communication.
• Real estate, property management, or commercial leasing experience is required.
• Self-directed, collaborative, and comfortable in a flexible, flat team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable for multiple real estate portfolios, including tenant charges, collections, and status reporting.
• Communicate directly with tenants and property managers to ensure timely payments and accurate account updates.
• Process accounts payable in Yardi, including invoices, check runs, tax payments, and utility payments.
• Maintain accurate rent roll, billing, and property accounting data within Yardi.
• Partner closely with the AP Manager and accounting leadership as portfolio volume grows.
