Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a related industry.
• Strong understanding of EOBs to determine denial reasons and actions.
• Experience with CPT, ICD-10 and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance denials and take appropriate action.
• Check claims status via phone or portal.
• Submit medical records and follow up on submission.
• Submit HCFA claims to non-electronic payors and submit appeals with docs.
