Job summary

AFC Transport seeks an experienced Revenue Cycle / AR, Credit & Billing Manager in Tampa, FL. You will own the full order-to-cash cycle across AFC Transport and AFC Logistics, leading a three-person billing and collections team to ensure accurate billing, credit risk management, and timely cash collection.

You will oversee credit applications, billing processes, and cash application, while monitoring aging, disputes, and reserves.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AR, credit, and collections.
• 3+ years managing a team of 3+ direct reports.
• 3+ years in transportation or logistics AR; knowledge of freight billing, PODs, rate confirmations, accessorials, portals, factoring remittances.
• Hands-on ownership of credit apps, limits, holds, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the full order-to-cash cycle for AFC Transport and AFC Logistics.
• Lead a billing and collections team to ensure accurate billing and timely cash receipts.
• Oversee daily cash application and AR aging reviews.
• Resolve disputes and short-pays; escalate balances over 60 days.
• Own month-end AR close, DSO reporting, and reserves recommendations.
• Develop and coach two Billing Specialists and one Collections & Cash Application Specialist.
