Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Credit and AR Analyst to perform credit evaluations, set credit limits, and assist with cash application. The role involves analyzing accounts nearing limits and balancing AR ledgers.

You will review credit applications using D&B reports, prepare management packets for large limits, and maintain credit and risk codes across customer accounts. Strong MS Office skills and analytical abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of credit or accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, & planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization and with internal/external clients.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, reviews and analyzes new customer account's credit worthiness through DNB reports.
• Review credit applications and send trade inquiries out to businesses supplied by the customer.
• Prepare packets for management approval for large credit limits over $150,000.
• Maintains the Credit Module on a customer's account including the credit limit and risk codes.
• Runs reports for accounts approaching the customer's credit limits for review.
• Help to update all acquisition accounts with missing credit limits or the wrong risk code.
• Help with cash application when needed along with analyzing the AR GL's.
• Additional duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Credit and AR Analyst performs a wide variety of credit and AR duties. Assigns credit limits on customer accounts, reviews and analyzes accounts approaching their credit limits along with helping to balance AR GL's and assisting with cash application when needed.
