Shorr Packaging Corp. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, focusing on collections, account reconciliation, and timely payment recovery.

The role monitors outstanding balances, billing activity, and unapplied cash, following up on past due invoices and resolving payment discrepancies. Responsibilities extend to billing, cash application, and advising on customer credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of accounts receivable experience with a strong focus on collections and reconciliation.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) for daily AR tasks.
• Experience with billing, unapplied cash, and credit support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor assigned accounts for collection efforts.
• Collect customer payments in accordance with payment terms.
• Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
• Review, report and place collection calls on delinquent accounts.
• Correspond with customers through calls, mail and email to encourage payment.
• Research invoice short-payments and deductions with internal teams for resolution.
• Identify issues attributing to delinquency and discuss with management.
• Record customer payments to appropriate accounts.
• Assist with setup of new customer accounts.
• Other duties may be assigned.
