Responsibilities

• Make daily collection calls.
• Conduct account research and analysis.
• Accurately post payments to customer accounts using ABS.
• Reconcile and resolve account discrepancies.
• Maintain spreadsheets with confidential customer data.
• Send statements to outstanding customers.
• Interact with customers to resolve issues.
• Provide customer service on payment history inquiries.
• Print monthly aging and post results.

What is an AR/Collections Specialist?

The Accounts Receivable/Collection Specialist primary responsibility will be to make collection calls to customers. He/She will also post and reconcile payments using various software programs. He/she will also mail monthly statements. He/she will establish relationships with clients to pursue payments and post them on accounts.

What will a typical day look like for you?

• Make daily collection calls
• Conduct account research and analysis
• Accurately post payments to customers accounts using ABS
• Reconcile and resolve account discrepancies
• Maintain spreadsheets using strict confidentiality with customer credit card information and check-by-phone information
• Send statements to outstanding customers
• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
• Provide customer service to customer inquiries regarding payment history
• Print monthly aging and post results
• Sort and file documents after posting

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
