CFS in Kenosha, WI is seeking an AR/Collections Specialist to join our accounting team. You will manage customer accounts, pursue outstanding balances, and help ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of B2B accounts receivable and/or collections experience.
• Strong AR aging, collections, cash application and reconciliation knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an ERP system preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances, payment status, billing questions, and invoice discrepancies.
• Lead B2B collections efforts, monitoring aging and proactively following up on past-due invoices to improve cash flow and reduce DSO.
• Apply customer payments, maintain accurate AR records, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Support billing activities, including customer invoicing, credits, rebills, and account maintenance.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, audits, and other accounting projects as needed.

About The Role

Our client is seeking an AR/Collections Specialist to join their accounting team. The AR/Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing customer accounts, following up on outstanding balances, resolving payment issues, and helping ensure timely payment.
