Qualifications

• Requires high school or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in governmental hospital AR billing/AR follow-up or revenue cycle.
• Strong knowledge of hospital registration, insurance billing, and AR management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise, organize and multi-task through others.
• Interpersonal skills and contract knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all AR collections functions including billing, follow-up, disputes, and analysis.
• Identify payer issues and trends to support revenue cycle initiatives.
• Engage with payers on aging and AR resolution in regular meetings.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and contracts.
• Develop training programs and monitor productivity and quality.
• Manage workflow, policies, and department goals; staff hiring and performance.
