Job summary

Exemplis LLC in Cypress, CA is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist on a temporary six-month assignment. The role, onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, will own full AR payment functions and support the Credit & Collections team.

You will verify and post payments, resolve variances, and maintain cash reporting and monthly reconciliations while working within a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of cash application experience.
• High speed and accuracy with keyboarding and ten-key applications.
• Microsoft Office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cash Application: Apply payments to accounts in Microsoft AX using remittance.
• Payments Processing: Process payments via electronic checks, credit cards, and live checks on JP Morgan Chase.
• Processing credit and debit memos: Create memos in Microsoft AX from a SharePoint workflow.
• Cash Reconciliations: Reconcile monthly cash revenue at month end.
• Cash Reporting: Maintain Excel spreadsheets and report daily cash to Executives.
• Reviewing payments: Check and maintain customer payments.
• Provide miscellaneous administrative support for Credit Department.

Position Summary:

If you are intensely passionate about streamlining, vigilant and diligent when handling money, and want to make an impact to the bottom line - we want you on the Finance Team as our Cash Operations Specialist!

You'll own the full cycle of accounts receivable payment functions. In addition, you will play a critical role in securing revenue by verifying and posting payment journals, resolving payment variances, keeping accurate cash receipt reporting & reconciling monthly transactions.

This is a minimum 6 month temporary contract requiring onsite work in Cypress, CA on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

• Cash Application: Apply payments made by customers to their accounts in Microsoft AX
  using customer provided payment remittance
• Payments Processing: Process payments made with electronic checks, credit cards, and
  live checks on JP Morgan Chase

  Morgan Chase, report daily cash to Executives
• Reviewing payments: Check and maintain payments made by customers
• Miscellaneous administrative support for Credit Department

• 1-2 years of cash application experience
• High level of speed & accuracy with keyboarding & ten-key applications
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) experience is a plus
