Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Medical AR Billing Supervisor in Towson, MD to lead a team of 10 billing and accounts receivable professionals, ensuring accurate and timely processing. You will oversee daily activities, drive follow-up and collections, and coordinate both facility and professional billing workflows.

This permanent, hybrid position offers a pay range of $60,000–$85,000 per year plus benefits, with opportunities to mentor staff and improve revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare billing, collections and RCM experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisor or team-lead role overseeing billers.
• Strong background in medical billing and collections; able to assist reps.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 10 billing and accounts receivable staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim processing, follow-up and collections.
• Manage team operations, performance, time-off requests, and billing Qs for facility & professional billing.
