Job summary

Altocare, operating through its Senior Helpers brand, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist to manage billing operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role reports to the Director of Finance & Accounting and requires strong Excel and GAAP/IFRS knowledge.

The position involves invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide financial data for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or 2–4 years of equivalent professional experience.
• GAAP or IFRS knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing processes and accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain and update customer data in the system.
• Perform invoicing, set up ACH, process payments, posting, reconciliation, and collections.
• Investigate and resolve billing or payment discrepancies or disputes.
• Generate reports including gross sales and aging analyses.
• Record and reconcile transactions in the general ledger; assist in financial statements.
• Prepare audit schedules and support during audits.
